Must I pay extra for using your online designed letterhead designs?

Why can't I have digitally printed letterheads?

There is no charge for using TheOnlinePrinter's free online design program. It is 100% free to use - in fact, if you use our free online design program, you save money on your order.

The second point of your posting, digitally printed letterhead, is a bit more complex.

Digitally printed letterhead does NOT use ink. Digitally printed letterhead uses toner, and it is applied to the paper by using heat.

If you have a laser printer and you use digitally printed letterhead, then the heat that the laser printer uses will melt the toner, and cause shadows on your letterhead. It will also damage your laser printer.

When you purchase letterhead, you should make sure that you order laser-friendly letterhead, as laser-friendly letterhead will be printed with ink, and ink does NOT melt in laser printers. All of TheOnlinePrinter's discount priced letterhead is 100% laser-friendly.

Regardless of whom you have print your letterhead, you should always check that the letter head is laser printer safe letterhead.

Digitally printed letterhead uses dry ink (i.e.: toner) rather than the traditional wet inks. Toner tends to melt in laser printers and this:

1) ruins the letterhead (it get shadows); and

2) can damage your laser printer.

so, always ensure that the letterhead you order is 100% laser printer safe.
