How do I upload an image into the online design?
Is there a size limit?
What colours must I have?
Uploading Images and Artwork to the Free Online design program.
Uploading images and text is easy.
First, get into TheOnlinePrinter's free Online Design system. You will get onto a page that is similar to the first picture below.
Click on the "Upload Artwork" button (the red arrow is pointing to it) if you wish to upload artwork or images.

Your PC screen will have a pop-up window come up, and that window will prompt you to select the image that you want uploaded. Just click on the "Browse" button (see red arrow below).

You will then get yet another pop-up window requesting that you select the image that you want.

Select the file that you want, and the file will become highlighted
For example:
- The picture above has a red arrow next to the file that I want to upload.
- I click ONCE on that file, and that file becomes highlighted (see image below where the file is now shaded blue).

You then click on "Open" (see the blue "Open" button above), and you will be returned to the Image Upload pop-up window (see below).

Click ONCE on "Upload File" (see red arrow above), and the file will be uploaded. If you file is large, then this might take some time.
once the file is uploaded, you will return to the design online screen (see below).

To move the artwork around the page, place the mouse over thye green botton at the top left of the artwork or image (see red arrow above), 'grab' the button, and drag the artwork to where you want it placed. 'Let go' of the image when it is placed where you want it.
Size of Files that can be Uploaded
You can upload any size file that you want. However, if the file is too big, it might 'take forever' to upload.
Special Requirements
All files MUST be in CMYK. If your files are in RGB, then the colours will change when it is printed.
If you do not know what CMYK and RGB mean, then visit TheOnlinePrinter's RGB and CMYK Explained information page.
Alternately, we also have some specific pages for some specific design program software:
