Many people are under the mis-conception that this beach is Chinese. It is in the southern part of South Korea. It is called HAEUNDAE.

People shower before entering the water (just as you would before entering a pool). There is still a slick on the water. The current offshore is extremely strong, so the water is replaced each day with nice new water.

In winter you can feed pidgeons on the beach. I don't know what happens to the birds in summer.

I have sailed off the beach, and it is a sight to behold, a multitude of people splashing in the water. They also make a MASSIVE amount of noise.

Most use the toilets - you know this because of the long queues - but some pee in the sea. If only a very small percentage do this, then it does wonders for your skin.
